Today, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, Sen. Barack Obama’s “friend” and “colleague,” pled guilty to felony obstruction charges.  He will serve four months in jail and pay a $1 million fine.  Kilpatrick dragged out the inevitable for seven months at significant cost to Michigan tax payers.  Michigan can do better than Kwame Kilpatrick.  This provides Republicans with an opportunity to grab Michigan’s 17 electoral votes this November.     

Remember, Sen. Obama said this about his friend Mayor Kilpatrick:

And he [Kilpatrick] is a leader not just here in Detroit, not just in Michigan, but all across the country.  People look to him.  We know that he is going to be doing astounding things for many years to come.

American Issues Project Launches New Ad

The legendary Spanish poet and author Miguel de Cervantes said, ”Tell me what company you keep and I’ll tell you what you are.”  Well, the company Sen. Obama keeps is downright troubling.  Of course, the mainstream media has neglected to cover Sen. Obama’s lesser points and so the stories of his associations with anti-American terrorists like William Ayers have gone largely untold.  But the American Issues Project launched a new ad examining the relationship between Sen. Obama and unrepentant terrorist William Ayers.   

Supported by over one hundred pages of back-up documentation and historical accounts, the American Issues Project is using this ad to shed light on Obama’s friendship with Ayers, the former leader of an American terrorist group known as Weather Underground.

Remarkably, Ayers’ group claimed responsibility…

Garth Brooks has a famous song called “Friends in Low Places.” The Obama campaign may want to consider adopting it as their official campaign song. Sen. Obama’s associations with characters like Rev. Jeremiah Wright, unrepentant terrorist William Ayers and the “Hip Hop Mayor” Kwame Kilpatrick are telling. They highlight a history of poor judgment. Here’s another reminder of Sen.
