Obama’s Improved Salute, Courtesy of the USMC

Great post at Blackfive from Mr. Wolf on President Obama’s military salute. It’s improved by leaps and bounds.

Here it looks like he’s looking out over the horizon for a pirate ship.

Is it appropriate to return a salute with one’s left hand? I noticed this morning on the news as the President approached Helicopter One, the Military guard saluted with his right hand, and the President returned the salute with his left hand?>
